The attention span, physical coordination, emotional behaviour of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) differs from ordinary students. Therapeutic training sessions are often expensive and unaffordable. The government is advocating inclusive education but SEN students normally do not receive adequate training. The purpose of this venture is to provide a low-priced, high-quality and intensive program – Integrated Listening System (iLs) training to SEN students in mainstream schools in order to enhance their capabilities in a more effective and less costly way. The project will also engage low-income housewives to work as training assistants. The schools, SEN students and parents will all benefit from the project.
